Yr 6 had a great trip to Cardiff Castle last week as an introduction to their new topic on World War 2. This immersive day looked at life of an evacuee and how cities like Cardiff were affected. The trip included a stunning 1 hour monologue by the tour guide who held the year group in the palm of his hands with expert storytelling and bringing the past back to life. It was trip enjoyed by all.
