At Sefton Park, we strive to maintain clear and effective communications with all parents, carers and with the wider community.  Effective communications enable us to share our aims and values by keeping parents/carers and the community well informed about school life.  This reinforces the important role that parents and members of the community play in supporting the school.

We have various strategies for communicating with parents and the community. This website is regularly reviewed, providing access to key school information, our latest news, important dates on the homepage calendar, year group pages and newsletters.

Arbor Parent Portal and App

In addition to this website as a means of keeping you informed, we use Arbor to send email and In App messages to parents/carers. If you have a smartphone, please download the Arbor app to have messages pushed to your phone without cost to Sefton Park. Alternatively, you can access the Parent Portal on your pc.

Online Payments

We are now also using Arbor to take online payments, via the smartphone app or website. In addition to viewing school meal balances via Arbor, you can make payments for lunches, school trips and other activities. You will also be able to give online consent, where required, for school-related activities.

To make things easy, we will notify parents/carers of new items for payment by In App message or email. Aside from saving the school time and money on administration, Arbor makes paying for school items easier and more flexible for parents. We would encourage you to use it as part of our move towards becoming a cashless school.
