Personal, Social, Health and Education (PSHE) Intent Statement
Our intention is that when children leave Sefton Park, they will do so with a knowledge and understanding of their emotional and social world that will enable them to play an active, positive role in today’s diverse society. We recognise how key emotional and social fluency is, affecting every area of a child’s life, including supporting their learning in other subjects.
We aspire that all our children will be confident to show resilience in the face of challenges, share their feelings, be vulnerable, stand-up for themselves. That they can be creative - express their responses in a range of mediums, and use different strategies to problem solve conflicts independently. That they are curious about the diversity of their classmates' emotions and experiences, wondering about their world, the feelings of others and actions they take.
