Sustainability Intent statement 

Finding the right balance between people, profit and planet is the key to the future success of our species. At Sefton Park, we feel that it is of the utmost importance to ensure that children leave our school feeling informed about issues impacting the planet and the plants and animals inhabiting it, along with an optimism and passion to help solve these problems, and the skills and knowledge required to do so. 

Curiosity: We know that children are naturally curious about the environment around them; we believe in nurturing and building upon this, allowing them the time to explore and develop these passions.

Confidence: Children are the future, and our education around sustainability will leave them feeling empowered to drive and make real change as they go through life.

Creativity: Children are naturally talented problem solvers, and exploring sustainable solutions and considering how we can live differently enables them to use and grow these skills in a real life, meaningful way.

We have been awarded our Green Flag, thanks to the hard work of our pupils.
