On an overcast Thursday, 20 Year 6 Girls marched up to Golden Hill Cricket Club to play Dynamo cricket against 10 other schools.

Sefton Park took 3 teams - which shows the interest in Girls Cricket - as 20 out of the 30 girls in the year group wanted to be part of the competition.  The day was a triumph with many great performances. It was a whole team effort with much cheering and supporting. One of the teams won the competition and so 8 of the girls will play in the County Finals on the 24th June. Well done to everyone who took part in what was an awesome day.
