On Friday, the Year 1's visited the Tobacco Factory in South Bristol to watch a performance of the Snow Queen. The children joined the character Gerda on her quest to the frozen north as she tries to save her best-friend Kaj from the icy, wicked clutches of The Snow Queen. The children loved the trip and were talking about it non-stop on their return. It really was a great way to begin the New Year and leads nicely into the year 1 topic - Fairy tales.
