On Wednesday Thangam Debbonaire visited Sefton Park. She talked to the children in years 3, 5 and 6 about her role as MP and Shadow Leader of the House, her thoughts on her job and the role of democracy. The children had 10 minutes to ask questions and were given insightful answers on what the food was like in parliament, any regrets she had on previous political decisions, not meeting the Queen and hopes she had for the future. We really appreciated her visit and it was great for the children to meet a Member of Parliament on the day when they themselves take part in  our own Pupil Parliament.
