Every child deserves to learn in a place where they feel understood, valued, and genuinely included.
Built in consultation with Bristol City Council, our Specialist Resource Base (SRB) is a purpose-built space designed specifically for children with autism and speech and language needs. Located upstairs in Ashley House, it features two specialist classrooms and additional learning spaces for up to 12 children who have an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP).
The SRB serves children from across Bristol, including our immediate school community. What's distinctive about our approach is that children learn and play alongside the wider school community whenever appropriate – accessing specialist support while remaining part of our vibrant school life.
Our inclusive approach enriches the entire school community. All pupils develop greater understanding and empathy while experiencing the richness of being part of a diverse school where every child belongs. Differences are celebrated, and friendships flourish across all abilities.

Many families across Bristol face difficult choices about their child's education. Should children travel long distances for specialist support? Does accessing that support mean missing out on mainstream school experiences?
Our resource base addresses this gap in local provision. We believe families shouldn't have to choose between getting the support they need and being part of an inclusive school community close to home.
