    From football and martial arts to creative workshops, wellbeing sessions, and musical theatre, our extracurricular clubs and activities offer children opportunities to explore new interests, develop skills, and make friends.

    Most clubs are run by external providers, with some led by our own talented teachers. To book a place, contact providers directly using the details below. For wraparound care, visit our Wraparound Care page.

    Make Art, Take Part

    This creative after-school workshop explores various artistic methods and materials. Children experiment with colour, line, form, space, and texture, develop their own creative ideas, and work together on collaborative projects.

    Sefton Spotlights: Autumn Club

    Years 3–6 | Thursdays, 3:30–4:45pm | Junior Hall

    Following another hugely popular round of auditions, our Autumn Club, which is open by audition only, is now full.

    Each week, our cast will immerse themselves in the magical world of The Wizard of Oz (Youth Edition), taking part in high-energy rehearsals that develop confidence, creativity and teamwork through acting, singing and dance. From learning unforgettable songs and spectacular choreography to bringing iconic characters to life, every rehearsal is designed to challenge, inspire and help every child achieve their very best.

    Sefton Spotlights has become synonymous with ambitious productions, exceptional performance standards and unforgettable experiences for every cast member. This year's production promises to be our most magical adventure yet, as we journey somewhere over the rainbow to the Emerald City.

    This club not only teaches children how to play chess, but also helps develop independent decision-making skills, self-confidence, and a sense of personal agency.

    City Gong Fu: Kung Fu

    Reception to Year 2 | Mondays, 3:30–4:20pm | Infant Hall
    Years 3–6 | Tuesdays, 3:30–4:20pm | Junior Hall

    Energetic Kung Fu classes where children build confidence, discipline, and fitness in a safe and supportive environment. Led by Sifu Kee, classes focus on self-defence skills and learning through play and teamwork.

    Gloucestershire Cricket Foundation: Dynamos Cricket

    Years 4–6 | Mondays, 3:30–4:30pm | MUGA

    A fun, skills-based cricket club for boys and girls aged 8–11. Each week focuses on a different cricket skill, building confidence and ability in a relaxed, encouraging environment. Suitable for children new to cricket as well as those who already love the game.

    Invisible Threads: Dance Class

    Reception to Year 3 | Fridays, 3:00–4:00pm | Infant Hall

    Themed dance classes that develop teamwork and motor control skills through high-energy warm-ups, games, dance routines, and creative tasks.

    Miss Anisha's Jazz Dance

    Musical theatre jazz dance class. Dancing to classic and contemporary hits, children learn a new routine each term and get the chance to perform at the annual showcase "Stages"!

    The Outdoors Project

    A mix of traditional and new outdoor activities on the school grounds, whatever the weather.

    Thrive Kids: Circus Skills & Coding Clubs

    Dance Club

    Reception to Year 3 | Thursdays, 3:30–4:20pm | Infant Hall

    Led by a qualified dance teacher with experience teaching children of all ages.

    Join us for a fun and interactive Spanish Language Club starting this September! Children will build confidence in speaking Spanish while learning useful everyday words and phrases in a relaxed and enjoyable environment.
