Mon 13 Jun 2022The 6 teachers who tok part in an epic 3 Peaks walking challenge completed their objective on Saturday evneing. The teachers walked for 25 miles, climbing over 2600 meters and nursed blisters, sore feet, and bruised knees as they finished their challenge at 9.45pm. Starting at 4am, the staff, 3 of whom had never walked to the top of a mountain before, climbed Gwdar Fawr, Snowdon and Cadair Idris. The weather was decisdedly mixed with gusting winds of up to 40 mph and low clouc cover which meant most of the walking was done with in poor visiblilty. Year 6 Girls Cricket win local competition
Fri 10 Jun 2022On an overcast Thursday, 20 Year 6 Girls marched up to Golden Hill Cricket Club to play Dynamo cricket against 10 other schools.
Sefton Park took 3 teams - which shows the interest in Girls Cricket - as 20 out of the 30 girls in the year group wanted to be part of the competition. The day was a triumph with many great performances. It was a whole team effort with much cheering and supporting. One of the teams won the competition and so 8 of the girls will play in the County Finals on the 24th June. Well done to everyone who took part in what was an awesome day.
