Good news story!
Last Sunday, two Sefton Park parents, Tom Morison (children in Years 5 and 2) and Ed Speelers (child in reception), completed a mammoth fundraising challenge in aid of the NHS.
They aimed to raise £8,000 by running 100km each in a day around the streets of Sefton Park Road. They both completed this challenge, running 55 laps of a 1.8km course. It took them between 12 and 14 hours and they received huge support from the local community. Firstly, we wish to congratulate them on their achievement and secondly would like to highlight their fundraising page.
They have currently raised over £13,000 and all further support is appreciated.
Congratulations to both Tom and Ed - what a fabulous thing you have both done.
