As the wintry days continue, Chess is a perfect way of socialising and testing your strategic skills. Term 3 has been all about Chess. All year groups from Year 2 to 6 have the opportunity to play chess during the week. Whether it is before school on a Wednesday or taking part in the chess tournament at lunchtimes. We have over 70 children taking part across the school and the beauty is that it appeals to everyone regardless of gender or background. It has been a pleasure to see the children converse, laugh and learn and long may the chess continue.
