On Thursday of this week, 7 pupils from years 5 and 6 traveled to Bristol Grammar School to take part in a drama competition with a difference. For 2 terms, the children have been meeting before school starts on a Friday morning to rehearse a play - Pandora's Box. The difference though, is that the play was performed in Latin! 5 plays were showcased at the competition and Sefton Park were judged to be the winners. 'The rehearsals were really enjoyable and we were all in it to have fun. We didn't expect to win it - so it came as quite a shock,' said one jubilant participant.
A huge thank you to Helen Currie for leading the Latin club, the rehearsals and the organising of the event. The school are delighted with the children and cannot wait to see their performance of Pandora's Box on Tuesday!
